Day 4: Dreamy

Nothing much going on today. Skyler is at school. So it's just Nolan, Brant and I.

Spent most of the day just watching him sleep. He's pretty dreamy.

Since Skyler has been home from school Brant has played birthday, princess and built a tent--Skyler is loving it.

Day 3: We have a name

WE GET TO GO HOME! But not before the birth certificate lady called the room and asked for his name. We had a few names and made a final decision just minutes before.

Sky is very happy to have us all home. Lots of hugs and kisses.

Day 2: Skyler visits

All his checkups went well.

He's a really good eater so far. So that makes life easier.

Skyler came to meet him and she was so sweet. She kept grabbing his hand and making him wave goodbye.

We stayed over night because he was born so late.

End of day two we still had no decision on his name.

Day 1: He made it!

Nolan Michael Alexander was born Monday, March 23rd at 10:34 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs and 21 inches long.

Contractions started about 1:00 and by 5:30 we were off to the hospital. Things happened fast. I was already dilated to 5-6 when got to the hospital. Ouch!

Everything went pretty smoothly. He was really quite when he came out. He's been quiet since.

I think he looks just like Brant. Watch out girls. :)
